Whether you’re planning a special live session or programming a countdown on your radio station, it’s important to prepare for this event so that you can celebrate with your listeners at the end of the year.
Here’s how to quickly put together a special New Year’s Eve program to end the year in style.
First of all, upload the count of your choice onto the Radio Manager. You might choose to record it yourself with a software such as Audacity or even have it created by professionals.
You can add a break by clicking on the orange button in the top right hand corner of the page. In order for your breaks to be broadcast exactly on the hour, you’ll need to set your break to the highest priority (10) and specify that the break can interrupt music in order to play on time.
You’ll simply need to select your break via the Content tab.

If you schedule your break on the same day, don’t forget to regenerate your day via the Daily Generation tab so that all of your changes are taken into account.
Celebrate the end of the year with a playlist consisting of some the biggest hits the year along with your more festive tracks.
